LOGO & MOTTO
Our school is a community, fostering a cooperative and supportive
workplace. We provide an inclusive and responsive learning environment.
We strive to acknowledge the people; their knowledge and skills,
self-worth and their importance to themselves and the community.
The school motto "I am because we are" is written by Fatima Dike, a
South African playwright. It epitomises the concept that the individual
cannot exist without the community they live within. Each are
inter-dependent on the other. To become a complete person there must be
a recognition that the community is essential to the shaping of the
person and the community is dependent on the growth of the people they
encourage. The environment of Warnbro Community High School is that of
a Learning Community which is characterised by a partnership between all
members of the school community working in a climate of innovation and
trust. The school aims to:
- Develop students and staff as "whole of life" learners.
- Provide innovative teaching designed to encourage student centred
learning.
- Provide leadership, which empowers staff with the freedom to
educate students to reach their full potential.
- Empower students with opportunity to be responsible for their own
learning.
- Encourage self-discipline as a key to education advancement and
social interaction.
