  • Develop and maintain communication channels that provide students, community, parents and staff with the opportunity to participate in decisions regarding the educational requirements of students.
  • Be responsive to community needs by maintaining flexibility in educational delivery and in hours of operation.
  • Liaise with and act upon the needs of the wider community, such as local industry and commerce, within the parameters of the school.
  • Maintain a high profile within the community.
  • Actively embrace the 'community resource' concept by promoting the school's facilities as an integral part of the wider community's resources.
  • Maintain educational goals as paramount, regardless of ethnic or income backgrounds.
