Aqua Jetty Creche
Early Childhood Studies 11 & 12 students participate in work-based learning rostered work at Aqua Jetty Creche.
Students will:
- Improve understanding of childrens' physical, social and emotional development.
- Strong focus on addressing needs of clients (children and parents)
- Appreciate work roles and requirements.
Advanced Technical Graphics
Students are invited to work on existing class projects and also develop additional
drawing skills. This group consists primarily of senior students wishing to make architecture, drafting or design a career.
Students will:
- Develop technical skills
- Learn to attain high standards of presentation.
- Learn to develop lateral thinking skills
- Gain exposure to a variety of drawing techniques.
Location: Tech Graphics
Offered: One to three times per week – lunchbreaks & one afternoon.

Advanced Materials Tech. Group
Students are given the opportunity to work in groups or individually on tasks of their choice. Projects range from working on completion of class work, personal projects and creating things for specific events; such as open night and competitions.
Students will:
- Learn to develop their own projects
- Enhance their hand skills
- Develop their ability to make choices
- Develop confidence in their own ability
- Work within groups as well as individually.
Location: Materials 1 – 2
Offered: After school – one per week
Number of students: 12 maximum
Mecure Hotel
Year 12 Hospitality students stay at a Perth hotel for 3 days/2 nights as part of SWL component of the Hospitality course. During the visit students experience the hospitality industry as a guest, staff member, SWL student and prospective employee. The department areas students work in are; functions (including weddings) restaurants, reservations, housekeeping and front office.
Students will:
- Complete competencies, relating to their Hospitality course.
- Develop and update Hospitality Industry knowledgeTeam building

Aviation Peac Group
To help students develop an awareness of aviation through model making and model aeroplane demonstration.
Students will learn about/develop:
- Aviation skills and enterpriseTime continuity (history of model – making)
- Construction principles (balsa wood model making)
- Appreciation of aviation pioneers and how it relates to aviation in WA today.
