SUBJECT SELECTION

Our world is rapidly changing. Warnbro's curriculum is designed to reflect that change and to foster a positive, responsible approach to learning. The capacity for life-long learning is vital to effective participation in a changing world. The collaborative approach encourages students to participate in planning their own learning framework and increase participation between student, parent and teacher. The curriculum offered is fully comprehensive and takes the eight learning areas as its framework.

The National Profiles have influenced the curriculum framework through Student Outcome Statements for Warnbro Community High School. Staff make a commitment to the principles of developmental learning. Student Centred approaches and the promotion of life-long learning are integral to the teaching/learning programs. In the design and delivery of its curriculum the school aims to provide comprehensive coverage of all eight learning areas ·
