TECHNOLOGY & ENTERPRISE
The
Technology and Enterprise program at Warnbro Community High School
provides experiences which cater for the interests, aspirations and
learning styles of all pupils.
Exposure to familiar and unfamiliar technologies enables our students
to acquire the skills, knowledge and values required to participate
fully in all aspects of life.
Through the T&E program at Warnbro Community High School our students
experience technologies that:
- Are relevant to contemporary issues and needs
- Have social and economic significance
- Improve the quality of the life at home and in the workplace
- Have enterprise potential
- Are ecologically desirable and sustainable and
- Are particularly relevant to our local community
Technology as a tool
Warnbro Community High School is committed to the use of technology in
education. Computer acquisitions, regular upgrades and capital
expenditure on hardware and software are an on going priority and a
major budgetary item.
The school boasts a very sophisticated network and students have
access to computers through-out the school. The integration of
information technologies across the curriculum with computers as a
teaching and research tool ensures that students graduate with enhanced
learning and research skills.
