SOCIETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Model United Nations Assembly
Youth across W.A. conduct a model United Nations Assembly to discuss and “ratify” United Nation resolutions.

Students will:

  • Develop public speaking skills
  • Develop debating skills/techniques
  • Establish networks with pupils from other schools
  • Develop a greater understanding of the processes of the United Nations and its role in international politics.

Location: Outside school
Offered: Yearly

Year 12 History Revision
Provides students with the forum to discuss in depth issues with the course – particularly cartoon analysis and essay writing techniques.

Students will:

  • Be provided with a supportive atmosphere to ask questions.
  • Be able to investigate deeper into areas of their course
  • Gain deeper understanding of how to interpret cartoons
  • Document studies
  • Increased ability to write essays
